Saritasa, LLC of Newport Beach, CA is proud to announce the launch of AvidTrips.com just in time for summer travel. The web site, created for AvidTrips, LLC of New York, is an adventure trips online booking site built on the LAMP Architecture (free, open source development components: Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP). It took 3,600 development hours and over 1.5 years to bring the site from concept to launch.

AvidTrips.com has a unique user interface and design, pushing the envelope of what can be done with HTML4/CSS and Javascript. The site contains no FLASH, so it is compatible with most mobile devices, such as the newly introduced iPad from Apple®.

The site allows adventure tour companies from around the world, both large and small, to set up and make their adventure tours available for immediate booking. It offers the end user a one-source website to search for and compare unique adventure travel opportunities from around the world, and book them online.  Looking for a Biking Tour through Mongolia? Three tours of 14 days each are available. At launch, nearly 1,000 unique adventure trips were available across 4 continents.
