Their Challenge
PanteraPay came to Saritasa with a clear goal: build a robust platform that simplifies billing and payments for small businesses. The founders saw how credit card processing fees eat into thousands of dollars of contractor profits annually while most billing platforms either take a significant cut or offer confusing pricing tiers. PanteraPay aims to disrupt that model with an easy-to-use, flat-rate SaaS product that gives business owners control, transparency, and meaningful cost savings. They needed a flexible solution that works both in the field and in the office, and that can scale with their users as their businesses grow.
Our Solution
We developed a custom SaaS platform built with Python, featuring cross-platform development for both web and hybrid mobile apps. The result is a powerful, flexible invoicing and payment management system that includes everything small businesses need without bloated features, hidden fees, or complex user flows. Our team worked closely with PanteraPay to ensure the platform was simple enough for field users and powerful enough for business owners.
Our Approach
What Saritasa Did
Cross Platform App Development
We built cross-platform, hybrid mobile apps accessible on both iOS and Android devices, as well as a web portal for admin users. Special attention was given to mobile usability, since many users would be working in the field. We ensured the mobile app experience was as intuitive and simple as possible.
Invoice Management
PanteraPay allows users to generate and send invoices directly from the job site or from the office. Field users can access the app via smartphone or tablet, create or access a custom invoice, and either accept payment on the spot or send a unique payment link via SMS or email. Invoices can be one-off or scheduled (weekly/monthly) and can include photo attachments and job notes.
Payment Processing
Selecting a payment gateway was a critical component. Popular gateways like Stripe were too expensive for the business model, so our team conducted extensive research and testing before landing on the right solution offering the right balance of features and low fees. This ensured we could deliver on PanteraPay’s core value proposition: no hidden costs and lower transaction fees. Payments can be made via credit card, ACH, cash, or check, with fees clearly communicated and customizable on the client’s pricing chart.
CRM Development
PanteraPay includes a lightweight CRM for managing customer profiles, transaction histories, and service records. Admins can add and manage customers, field users, invoices, products, and/or services, as well as merge services/products into groups for easier access. Each record has unique, relevant, and customizable fields. In invoices, admins can link together customer data, services or products rendered, and the assigned field user to ensure complete transparency and recordkeeping.
Analytics Dashboard
We built a powerful dashboard that provides business owners with real-time insights into their operations. Administrators can view total revenue, number of invoices, breakdowns by payment method, field user performance, and the amount saved compared to traditional credit card processing. This allows contractors to make smarter decisions and track financial health over time.
