Their Challenge
Peggs’ field service operation faced operational inefficiencies due to a fragmented workflow. Managing repair orders required three separate systems for invoicing, driver tracking, and payroll, which created unnecessary administrative overhead. The lack of integration made it difficult to accurately track employee hours, introduced errors in client billing, and left the business vulnerable to compliance risks under strict government regulations. These challenges are common across the field service industry, where disconnected systems and manual reconciliation often hinder growth. To scale effectively, Peggs needed a unified solution that streamlined operations, reduced errors, and ensured regulatory compliance.
Our Solution
Saritasa engineered a sophisticated middleware solution designed to act as a single source of truth between Peggs’ three core systems. Built on a modern .NET and Angular framework, the middleware integrates directly with Peggs’ existing platforms, capturing real-time vehicle telemetry, automating job order processing, and generating verified time logs for payroll and client billing. This solution not only reduced costly management overhead but also empowered Peggs to operate more efficiently, maintain compliance with government regulations, and scale their field service business with confidence.

What Saritasa Did
Multi-API Integration Middleware
The core of the project was designing and implementing middleware capable of managing bidirectional data flow between three separate, critical APIs: Corigo, GeoTab, and Kronos. This eliminated duplicate entry, reduced the risk of errors, and gave Peggs confidence that job orders, technician activity, and payroll records were always in sync. The solution was carefully tested with live users to ensure stability and accuracy across all three mission-critical platforms.
Data Reconciliation Engine
We developed a custom reconciliation engine capable of analyzing high volumes of real-time telemetry data and applying complex business logic to validate every job. This engine handles countless edge cases, such as discrepancies between a technician’s self-reported job completion time and their vehicle’s GPS location. The engine automatically flags these exceptions, processes them according to pre-defined rules, and ensures that only verified, compliant data is passed to the payroll (Kronos) and invoicing (Corigo) systems.
Job Validation & Compliance
Compliance is non-negotiable in the field service industry, where strict regulations govern driving hours, breaks, and job documentation. Our system automatically tracks the full lifecycle of each job and validates it against government requirements. Peggs now has an auditable digital record that ensures technicians stay compliant while reducing liability risk. This automated process removed the burden of manual checks and gave management peace of mind knowing compliance is built directly into the workflow.
Exception Reporting
To ensure trust in the automated system, we designed a dashboard and an automated exception reporting feature. While the main process is hands-off, administrators receive instant, detailed error messages via email whenever a significant discrepancy (like a vehicle GPS/site mismatch) or compliance breach occurs. This gives management surgical precision in addressing issues, eliminating the tedious work of auditing thousands of correct time logs and allowing them to focus only on genuine exceptions.
